Mike’s first exposure to the classic car world was at the age of 15, purchasing his first car, a 1966 Chevy II. What started as a “get it running and try to paint it” opened the door to a 40 year love affair with old cars. Mike prefers cars from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but enjoys working on virtually any classic car.

Mike and his wife, Diane, previously owned an automotive general repair shop and a custom motorcycle shop in Virginia. Although he has completed many restoration and repair projects, his proudest accomplishments are his children – Lauren and Jesse.

Mike’s favorite part of working for Atomic Speed Shop is having the opportunity to improve and appreciate a variety of classic cars.  He says he couldn’t imagine a better way to spend his days.
