Will and his brother, Adam, played Dukes of Hazzard daily. One was Bo Duke, the other, Luke Duke. They sat together in this 1966 426 HEMI Coronet that their Dad owned. Will remembers going to pick it up. Their Dad drag raced for sport, going to Bristol with a 1969 Dodge Dart he’d purchased new in high school. They took several trophies for #1 in car show stock HEMI class. Will and his brother Adam began painting cars on the side. Will learned from his Dad, then took 4 years of vocational classes in high school. He tells of enjoying making a bad looking car good again. Will put in overtime with the instructor to complete special projects. He graduated high school in 1993 and owned and operated his own business (a mobile touch-up, bumper repair and painting service) for 14 years, named Mobile Colors. Will has over 28 years of paint and body experience. Will assisted his brother into getting his own business. Will worked on Robert Elwood’s firebird, and Robert saw great potential in Will. Will was hired at the Atomic Speed Shop as the paint and body expert. Will aims for perfection. After Will’s hands have touched a car, it magically becomes showroom quality.
Will enjoys flying RC helicopters, drones, and buying components to build his own. He has always been mesmerized with flight circuitry.
Favorite car: 1970 HEMI Cuda (According to Will’s words, “I will own one one day!”)
