ROBERT ELWOOD

Robert grew up in South Knoxville and Jefferson County, Tennessee. He moved to Oak Ridge in the 90s. Over the last 35 years, he’s had a love for cars, everything from JEEP trucks, late 6os muscle cars to exotics.

Robert started this business in 2013 from a hobby and thoroughly enjoys restoring or building cars, trucks, and classic automobiles.  He is a professional engineer and has both mechanical and nuclear engineering degrees from The University of Tennessee – Knoxville.

Two personal projects of interest: Robert restored his Father’s 1961 corvair ramp side pickup truck.  This truck went on to win Favorites: #1 corvair truck in International corvair car show. His second project was restoring a 1970 Dodge Charger with 46 HEMI that was featured at the last Playboy Mansion car show (1 of 23 cars), as well as at SEMA in Las Vegas.

Robert enjoys boating and owns a 1969 Chris Craft Constellation 57 (wooden boat), Norris Craft, and Mako.
